Autumn (2)

Ok, I admit, I am super bad at thinking of a good title...or actually, at writing anything...So, I'm gonna just save it and go straight to the photos. Hope you guys like them!
Another set of photos that I took when I was in Beijing.

This was actually the first time that I tried to pair shorts with boots ( I used to think the combination very strange...), but I think it worked out great! HK is not yet that cold that I can wear my boots, but I think this is the look I will go for very often this fall in HK.

Autumn

Autumn is my favourite season in Beijing, that's why I go back home at this time every year.  The weather is always sunny and nice, I can still wear my favourite summer pieces, and just throw a sweater over it.

I went to this small village near the Grate Wall, and everywhere I looked was just like a beautiful picture. Cannot stop running around and taking photos~~

Summer garden

Found this pretty dress at Ted Baker the other day, and fell instantly in love with it. I have to say, this is my type of floral print for the summer (yeah....it's still summer here...)

My friends say there is something "Chinese" about the print, what do you think?

Going sheer

Lately I have seen many bloggers start posting their fall outfits, yet HK is still so hot. Sooo hot that I only want to wear the lightest thinest clothes.  I like the sheer top from H&M, although its showing a little bit, but whatever ;P

I am wearing my new Ivanka Trump pumps, and can I just day, those are the most comfortable heels I have ever worn.( I walked 6 hours in those shoes!) I bought mine on Nordstrome website, and I'm thinking about buying them in other colors as well.

Green Tee Latte

I have to confess: I am SUPER superstitious! Horoscope says that green is my lucky color this year, and being a superstitious person like I am, I have to carry it to the extreme. So here I am, wearing green top (though my bf totally disagreed with me, and said it's brown....Really?), and green shorts. Like those are not enough, my drink has to be green too! Wish me luck!

A Walk in Tropical Parasise

Continue my obsession with maxi dresses!

Those photos were taken last month when I attended my friend's wedding in Sanya, China (have I told you that I think Sanya is like the Maldive in China?)

I love this cut in front of the dress. I mean, hey, a girl can flaunt her legs a little bit, even though not everyone of us has the great/long/stunning legs like those super models, right?

I know the high-low hemline style was really huge this season, but to be honest, I never really dig into that style. I feel the whole high-low hemline idea it about showing your legs, and the cut in front of the dress could fulfill this purpose just fine.

Talking about great deal

Weather in Hon Kong finally got better this week, it's sunshine everyday, sooo bad I had to stay in office and cannot enjoy it. Even worse, its gonna be cloudy and rainy for the weekend....

Anyway, here are a few shots I took last weekend, wearing what I think are my summer essential piece -- a sheer, nude-color, silk shirt. I got this shirt on sale at Zara last year, it cost me like HKD200 or less, and I got sooo many wear out of it! Talking about Great Deal!  (I once heard a blogger said that the way to measure the costs of a piece of clothing is not by the price tag, but number of wears you get per dollar spent, or sort of like that...)

Btw, I took the photos are the roof top of IFC, definitely one of my favourite place to go in HK. There is a Red Bar here, and a great way to enjoy yourself with friends on breezy summer night. If you are ever in HK, do check this place out :)

Hope you have a great (sunny) weekend!

My new Proenza schouler PS1 bag - Review

If you read my last post, you probably noticed that I was carrying my new Proenza Schouler PS1 bag.

I have wanting to buy a new designer handbag for a really long time, and Chanel ,Celine, Balenciaga were all on top of my wish list, but at the end, I chose this Proenza Shouler PS1 bag, in black color, medium size.  I was trying to look for some detailed review of this PS1 bag when I was making my decision, but I couldn't find much on line. So, for those who also thinking about to purchase a Proenza Sschouler or just any designer bag, I hope this post could be of help to you.

One thing I love the most about the Proenza Schouler bag is its storage place. The bag has three compartments, so really allows my to organize my stuff, and avoid fishing all around the bag when I really need something (which I really hate, especially when it's urgent!).  I put my headphone and cardholder in the first compartment, and my Blackberry and phone in the second one. The largest  / main compartment hold my wallet, calender, Kindle, etc, and it still has plenty room after that.  The sales told me that the PS1 medium size bag is large enough to put your Ipad in (and I once put my Nikon DSLR in it).

The leather is really soft, of high quality. But I think with this messenger style of it,  this is the kind of bag that I do not need to take extra care of, and or afraid of getting any scratch. In fact I feel the more I use it and the more slouchy it gets, the better it looks. Kind of giving a "I don't care" attitude.

Proenza Schouler bag comes in many colors, and I think each season it will come out with different colors and some times different patterns. But I just feel that if I were to purchase an expensive designer handbag, I would like it go well with most of my wardrobe, that's why I chose black.

My only concern before I purchased this bag is that the style might be too casual and a little boy-ish, it might not go well with some girly looks. But as you can see, I think it really works great with any style, be it T-shirt and jean short or soft dresses.

Shopping therapy

It's been a really messed up week....
Nothing goes well at work, I got sick early this week and on top of that I failed my CFA exam... SHIT!!!!!  Seems the only thing that could cheer me up right now is the shopping therapy, and thank God, it is the sales season now! (I told my boyfriend the other day that my 4 favourite letters in English are S*A*L*E, I think he was totally speechless :P)

I got this dress recently at Club Monaco. I went into Club Monaco store thinking I'm gonna get some great pieces that are on sale. However, after all the stuff I tried on, I ended up with this full-price dress (Oops...) But I just think this dress is so me, and I have to have it.  Besides I think this soft flowy fabric will balance well with my chunky white heels.
